Terms of Service - Online Orders
We realize that you have taken considerable time, effort and trust when placing your order. We thank you and your patronage is greatly appreciated.
By proceeding with your order you agree to the following terms regarding online orders. In the subsequent terms of service agreement Johnny Janosik, Inc. dba “Johnny Janosik World of Furniture” is referred to, for simplicity, as Johnny Janosik.
Availability Errors: Johnny Janosik does not guarantee the immediate availability of merchandise for online purchase. Online stock availability is subject to verification and correction by Johnny Janosik.
Bedding: Bedding cannot be returned or exchanged.
Customer Pick-Up: Please notify our Delivery Scheduling Department 2 days prior to pick up. All items are in the original factory packaging to provide safe and convenient transport.
Some items may require assembly. Customer assumes all responsibility for merchandise tied down to the vehicle and any damages during transport. Insurance regulations prohibit any tie downs to the top of vehicle.
You agree that you (or an adult representative 18 years of age or older) must be home to accept delivery or service of the merchandise.
You have 72 hours from pick up date to report to our customer care department any defect/damage. All pick up items must be returned to the pickup location in the original packaging.
Customer Care: All furniture has a one year manufacturer’s warranty from date of delivery. Defective merchandise will be handled in a manner consistent with the manufacturer’s warranty.
We reserve the right to repair or replace damaged/defective merchandise at our discretion. All warranties are void if upon inspections the merchandise shows signs of misuse and/or abuse.
Manufacturer Warranties apply under conditions of normal residential usage only and does not apply to defects or damage resulting from (a) negligence, abuse, or misuse; (b) inadequate or improper maintenance, cleaning or care; (c) exposure to chemicals and/or liquids; (d) accidents; (e) any use for which the product was not designed; or (f) commercial usage, which includes rental, business, commercial, institutional or non-residential use.
No service on accessories.
Delivery: All orders must be paid in full before delivery will be schedule. We do not schedule deliveries on settlement dates.
To ensure the safety of our delivery teams, we reserve the right to delay deliveries due to hazardous road and/or weather conditions. We require entry doors be measured to ensure fit, pathways cleared of any obstructions and your room prepared to receive your new furniture. Extraordinary deliveries requiring hoisting or stairways must be reported when contacted to confirm your online order (and is subject to additional fees) to ensure the delivery is completed as scheduled. Our delivery teams are required to take photos before, during and after delivery. Our delivery team reserves the right to refuse delivery in potentially dangerous situations that could result in personal injury or property damage. Delivery charges will be forfeited and reassessed for furniture undelivered due to these issues.
Johnny Janosik, Inc is not responsible for damages in the home (i.e., floors, walls, and stairways, etc.) or property (i.e., lawns, and driveways, etc.). Due to OSHA regulations delivery teams must wear shoes during the delivery. We are unable to handle personal items or electronic equipment.
One day prior to the scheduled delivery you will receive a call from 302-364-6535 confirming your delivery date & time frame. You have 72 hours from date of delivery to report to any defect/damage.
No Alterations: No employee at Johnny Janosik is authorized to make any changes in the terms specified herein.
Order Processing: Sales orders are processed Monday - Friday, 8:00AM to 4:00PM. A Johnny Janosik representative will contact you to confirm your order within above stated hours.
Order Accuracy: Johnny Janosik is not responsible for any “misordered” item(s).
By proceeding, you acknowledge that you have gone over all details regarding the product(s) (fabric, finishes, etc.) and accept that you will responsible for the details regarding your order.
Dye lots are not guaranteed to match if product is ordered at different times.
Price Match Guarantee: We guarantee our prices to be the lowest on name brand furnishings and bedding on Delmarva.
If within 10 days of purchase you bring in a written quote or advertisement on the exact items for less, we will refund 110% of the difference.
110% Price Guarantee is for our five state area that includes DE, PA, MD, VA & NJ.
Stock Orders: All orders are immediately placed with the manufacturer. Please allow 4 to 30 weeks for arrival. This is an estimate only as we are not responsible for vendor production or delivery delays.
If you should find the need to cancel, you may do so within 48 hours. If you cancel after 48 hours of purchase date you may receive an in-store credit for the full amount or a refund less a 30% processing fee less delivery charge (if applicable).
In-store credits are valid for 3 months. Unclaimed orders of 6 months will be cancelled and all deposits forfeited.
Technical Errors: Any errors that may arise with a purchase due to any technical errors are subject to correction at the sole discretion of Johnny Janosik, which may include cancellation of any online purchase.
