People have had questions about furniture delays due to COVID-19, and we have answers!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, manufacturers of all products have been struggling with delays. This has impacted the furniture industry particularly hard as furniture is often produced upon demand rather than stockpiled and can take much longer to produce than other products. We are working with manufacturers to improve lead times, but because this affects the industry at large, it has not been easy to overcome.

Who?

This does not just impact Johnny Janosik. Our competitors are experiencing the same delays, and we would urge you to stick with us and stay strong as we battle the virus together. Different manufacturers also have different lead times, and they’ve all been impacted in some way. We offer thousands of products from hundreds of manufacturers, so if you’re looking for something sooner rather than later, we should be able to find something to suit your time frame.

When?

We will get you your furniture. Not only will we get it to you as soon as we can, but we will keep in touch to let you know of any further delays a particular manufacturer may be experiencing. We can never say exactly when we will receive something, but the pandemic has increased the overall uncertainty when it comes to ordering, production, and shipping.

Why?

Furniture takes a lot of raw material and manufacturing from all over the world to produce. The world’s economy is complicated, and trying to explain how the global supply chain on top of manufacturing slowdowns (not to mention increased demand from all that are staying at home) has caused a shortage in furniture is well beyond us. How?

If you're looking for something right now, we've created a new section on our site that contains all of the items you can get now. We know that list isn't as extensive as usual, but we’re actively working to keep our stock levels up during this shortage.
