Consumer may choose to apply a commercially available outdoor synthetic wood protectant for maximum protection. EverteakTM surface is resistant to alcohol, juice, and coffee spills under normal use and does not stain from common household liquids. Cleaning is simple – a mild soapy solution with a soft cloth is usually sufficient to remove dirt and debris. Oil stains (plant and animal-based oil) on the surface can be removed by using a soft-bristled brush to clean with baking soda or non-abrasive cleaners. While typically resistant to household liquids and stains it is important to clean your EverteakTM furniture regularly and not allow residue to build up on the surface that will make cleaning more difficult. Everyday scratches and scuffs are normal and can be repaired using a scouring pad to sand lightly with the grain. Deeper gouges require the use of wood putty to repair. Care should be taken not to place hot objects like pots, pans or grill tools on EverteakTM as they will scorch the surface. Everteak TM Durability and Testing All EverteakTM materials have been specifically designed and rigorously tested for outdoor environments. Given normal use, we are pleased to provide 3-year limited residential warranty on the synthetic wood against defects in materials and workmanship that imparts the use of the product.
